Ahh... It's Spring Break

So many projects to complete this week. Step one is removing all the weeds from the flower beds in front and side of the house. My good friend Elizabeth has given us quite a few plants that will look great along side the house. Thanks sweetie! Second is to fix the holes in the wall in my dining room. I already painted the kitchen twice since we have lived here. The first time I painted I went way too fast because we were in a hurry to move in. My sheetrock and mudding project was not up to par. There was bumps and dips every where. How did these holes appear in our wall you ask? From these little darlings of course!

Tippy and Ellie. Some happy news Usher was adopted on Saturday. The sweetest lady adopted him. I am sure he will be so happy to be spoiled.

MS Awareness Week

This week kicks off National MS Awareness Week. Contessa was diagnosed with MS three years ago today! Over the past 3 years we have had many struggles with her, both in school and with her health. She really has been a great sport about the diagnosis. She has learned to accept her illness and she loves to tell people a little more about Multiple Sclerosis. We have formed a team to walk in the MS Walk on Saturday, April 26 at Jarvis Creek Park. Please follow this link to register or donate to Tessa's Team. http://walkncp.nationalmssociety.org/site/PageServer?pagename=WLK_NCP_ePledge

Thank you for your support!

Need For Speed

Back in November, Marc and Winston went to Atlanta for a NASCAR Driving experience.

Marc was able to drive his own car and of course he loved it. Even with this being his third time racing he never tires of the feeling of his stomach in his throat! Winston was able to go on a ride along. Once he was buckled in the driver asked how fast he should go, would Winston be scared? Marc just laughed and told the driver... "Winston will put his hand out flat to stay at a slower speed. Thumbs up means putting the pedal to the metal." Would you know it, Winston was all thumbs up. He was clocked at doing 160mph on the backstretch!
When Marc finished his race he was clocked at 148mph. Boy, did Winston rub it in that he went faster than Daddy!

Adoption Day

Today we spent 5 hours at PetSmart showing Usher. We took Usher in as a foster in November. He behaved very well and got along well with the other dogs. This one little girl feel in love with him but mom was looking for a puppy, oh well hopefully she'll change her mind.

Usher is a black lab mix. He is one year old and is going for obedience classes at PetSmart.

Contessa feel in love with this one.
This shot was just irresistible to miss. So many folks asked if we posed these pups for the camera. Looking cute all day is a "ruff' job, but someone has to do it. If you are looking for a nice dog to foster or adopt, please contact Palmetto Animal League for one of their many lovable dogs. (or cats)
